A US soldier from the 2nd Battallion 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 4-2 SBCT, distributes sweets to Iraqi girls during a patrol in the town of Baquba. Baquba is the capital of Diyala province which is now considered the most dangerous area in Iraq.

New DWTS Lineup Announced

In case you missed it (or care), the new Dancing With the Stars lineup was announced yesterday! Celebs include Priscilla Presley, Kristi Yamaguchi, Adam Carolla, Marlee Matlin, Shannon Elizabeth, Steve Guttenberg, Monica Seles, Penn Jillette, R&B singer Mario, Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor, Cristian De La Fuente and Marissa Jaret Winokur. Hope it's a good season!

New Recipe - Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

I've had a couple of requests for this recipe, so this week's noteworthy recipe is Chandler's Chicken and Wild Rice casserole. The link is on the right hand side under "Culinary Corner." Recipe notes: I substituted cream of celery soup for the cream of mushroom, and added a teaspoon of thyme and a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to the final mixture. Delicious!

Ryan Newman's Victory

Adam was extremely excited when his favorite driver, #12 Ryan Newman, won the Daytona 500 on Sunday. It was a nailbiting finish and a victory well deserved for Ryan. Adam was psyched to be at the race to watch it! GO RYAN!

Our Miracle

Oliver's had an exciting weekend... between going to Disney World, to the park, and taking all his vehicles for rides around the yard, we're tuckered out!

Escape to the Caymans

Adam and Julie just got back from the Cayman Islands where we had a fabulous time! Grammie took good care of Oliver while Mommy and Daddy escaped to paradise. Thanks Grammie...miss you already!

Looking Forward!

We're so excited to have Uncle Eric, Aunt Liz and cousin Cameron come visit this Wednesday! We have a fun-filled weekend planned. On Thursday, the adults are going to the Van Halen concert. Friday, Uncle Eric and Adam will join Ben (Saba) in Daytona for a weekend at the Daytona 500. Aunt Liz, Julie, Mr. O and Cameron will be going to Disney World! We're looking forward to fun times together! Lots of pictures to come!
